Nikol Pecka Photography is the photography brand operated by Stardust Media Studio VOF. By booking our photography services, you agree to the terms below. These terms will be shared with you before your booking is confirmed.
In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Stardust Media Studio VOF, operating under the brand Nikol Pecka Photography. “The Photographer” refers to Nikol Pecka when she provides the photography services.
1. Bookings & Payment
A 30% deposit is required to secure your photography booking. This applies to both regular photography sessions and weddings.
Your booking is confirmed once the details have been agreed upon in writing and the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined in your booking confirmation or photography agreement.
2. Changes Rescheduling & Cancellations
For regular photography sessions, rescheduling is possible free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Requests made within 72 hours of the session will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If a regular photography session is cancelled by the Client, the deposit may be retained as a cancellation fee, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The amount retained will take into account the circumstances of the cancellation, any work already carried out, costs incurred, and any loss resulting from the cancelled booking.
For weddings and larger assignments, cancellation and rescheduling arrangements are set out in the separate photography agreement agreed upon and signed by the Client.
If the Photographer needs to cancel a booking, the Client will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. Where appropriate, the Photographer will try to offer a suitable alternative date or solution. Any refund will be handled in accordance with the booking agreement and applicable law.
3. The Photography Experience
Every person, story and occasion is different, and that is part of what makes photography so special.
We approach each shoot with care and creativity, but specific images, poses, expressions or outcomes cannot be guaranteed. By booking, you acknowledge and appreciate Nikol's photographic style, creative vision and editing approach as reflected in her portfolio.
The Photographer will select and edit the final images according to her artistic judgement and the agreed scope of the assignment. Only the agreed deliverables will be provided.
If you have particular requests, important moments or specific needs, please share them with us before the shoot. We will always do our best to accommodate them where possible.
4. Your Part in the Experience
A great photography experience is something we create together. To help everything run smoothly, we ask you to:
Provide accurate information about your booking.
Arrive on time and be ready for the agreed start time.
Let us know about any specific requests, restrictions or important details in advance.
Arrange any permissions required for your chosen location or venue.
Help create a respectful and safe environment for everyone involved.
Delays, lack of cooperation, venue restrictions or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the photographs we are able to capture.
We will always try to adapt where possible. Additional time or services may involve extra costs, which will be discussed with you in advance.
5. A Safe & Respectful Environment
We want every photography session to feel comfortable, safe and respectful for everyone involved.
If a situation becomes unsafe, threatening, inappropriate or seriously disrespectful, the Photographer may pause or end the session. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the concern and give everyone an opportunity to resolve the situation.
If a session needs to end early, any financial consequences will depend on the circumstances, the work already completed and applicable law. The outcome will be handled fairly and in accordance with the booking agreement.
6. Delivery & Image Storage
Your final photographs will be delivered digitally in high resolution, through an online gallery or another agreed method.
Our usual estimated delivery time is 2–3 weeks, unless a different timeframe has been agreed upon in writing. Weddings, multi-day assignments and larger projects may require a different delivery schedule, which will be confirmed in your booking agreement.
We take care in selecting and editing your images, and we want to deliver a gallery that reflects the time and attention your photographs deserve. If an unexpected delay significantly affects the agreed delivery timeframe, we will keep you informed.
RAW files, unedited photographs and working files are not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
We recommend downloading and safely backing up your photographs as soon as they are delivered. Online galleries are available for a limited period, which will be communicated to you where applicable.
We generally retain working files and backups for up to 12 months after delivery, where technically possible. This is not a guarantee of permanent storage, so please do not rely on us as your long-term archive.
If files are lost or damaged before delivery due to a technical issue or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to recover them or find an appropriate solution.
7. Copyright & Image Usage
We put care, creativity and time into every photograph we create. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright remains with the Photographer.
Once the agreed payment has been received, you receive permission to use the final photographs for the purposes included in your booking agreement.
For personal photography sessions, this includes printing your photographs, keeping them for personal use and sharing them on your personal social media accounts.
Please do not sell, license, substantially alter, filter or edit the photographs, or use them for commercial or promotional purposes, without our prior written permission.
For business, branding and other commercial photography, the permitted usage rights will be clearly outlined in your selected package, proposal or booking agreement. This will explain how the photographs may be used, for example on websites, social media, advertising or printed materials.
If you would like to use your photographs in a way that falls outside the agreed usage rights, please contact us first. We are happy to discuss the possibilities.
RAW files and unedited images are not included unless agreed upon in writing.
We want you to enjoy and share your photographs while also respecting the creative work and copyright behind them.
8. Sharing Your Photographs
We love being able to share our work and show the stories behind the photographs we create.
With your permission, selected images may be featured on our website, portfolio, social media or other promotional materials. Permission for this use is separate from your booking and is not required to book a session.
Choosing not to give permission will not affect your ability to book our services or receive the agreed photographs.
For weddings and events, other people may appear in the photographs. Permission from the person booking the Photographer does not automatically cover everyone who may be identifiable in the images. Any required permission or other appropriate legal basis for publishing identifiable images will be considered, with particular care taken when children are involved.

9. Travel & Additional Costs
We love photographing stories wherever they take us. Any travel expenses or additional costs, such as accommodation, parking, entrance fees or other expenses related to the assignment, will be discussed and agreed upon with the Client in advance.
No additional expenses will be charged without prior communication, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. When Things Don't Go as Planned
Sometimes circumstances arise that neither party could reasonably have anticipated or prevented. These may include serious illness, accidents, extreme weather, transport disruption, government restrictions or unexpected venue restrictions.
If something affects your booking, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible and work together to find a fair and practical solution.
Depending on the circumstances, this may involve rescheduling, arranging a suitable alternative or refunding payment for services that cannot be provided.
Any financial arrangements will take into account the work already completed, costs incurred, the possibility of rescheduling, the booking agreement and applicable law.
11. Our Commitment & Liability
We take our work seriously and will provide the agreed photography services with care and professionalism.
If something goes wrong, we will make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include attempting to recover files, arranging a suitable replacement where possible, rescheduling or refunding payment for services that cannot be provided.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for a claim arising from an assignment will be limited to the amount paid or payable for the affected assignment.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable mandatory consumer rights.
We cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control that affect the assignment, provided we take reasonable steps to minimise their impact.
12. Questions & Concerns
We want you to feel comfortable reaching out if something does not go as expected.
If you have a concern about your photography experience or the delivered images, please contact us in writing using the contact details below. Let us know what happened and include any relevant details so we can review the situation properly.
We will make reasonable efforts to respond and work towards a fair solution.
Nothing in this process limits your statutory rights or any legal remedies available to you.
13. Online Bookings & Your Rights
When booking online or through other distance communication, you may have statutory consumer rights, including a right of withdrawal where applicable.
Any relevant information about withdrawal periods, exceptions and the consequences of requesting that services begin during a withdrawal period will be provided as part of the booking process.
Where required by law, we will obtain the necessary express request or acknowledgement before beginning services during an applicable withdrawal period.
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory statutory rights.
14. Your Privacy
We respect your privacy and take care when handling your personal information.
Information provided during an enquiry or booking may be used to respond to your questions, manage your booking, deliver your photography services, process payments and meet applicable legal obligations.
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, which service providers may process it and what rights you have.
Permission for promotional use of identifiable photographs will be handled separately where consent is the appropriate legal basis.
15. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to the client.
If a concern or dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may seek assistance through the appropriate legal channels.
